A filter for your email. It blocks phishing, malware and spam before it reaches staff inboxes.
Email passes through it before reaching inboxes. It checks sender authenticity (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), scans attachments and links, sends suspicious files to a sandbox, and can encrypt messages.
Administrators want to see and control email reaching staff, including messages from inmates’ associates, and to preserve a record of them.
- Blocks phishing and impersonation.
- Filters messages by sender or content under agency rules.
- Can encrypt sensitive messages.
A phishing attack on a Michigan jail
In 2017, a man used phishing emails and phone calls on Washtenaw County employees to get into the county network, then altered a jail record to try to win an inmate’s early release. Staff caught it, and the county’s losses were at least $235,488.
