A website for managing your FortiGates. It handles setup, settings backups, reports and logs without you running a management server.
FortiGates register to a Fortinet cloud portal. New devices can pull their configuration automatically, and administrators use a web console for monitoring, reporting, configuration backups and firmware.
Small jails need the same visibility and control over inmate and staff networks as large systems, usually with far fewer people. Hosted reporting shows who’s using the network, which applications are running and what was blocked, without another server to maintain.
- Shows top users, applications and blocked activity for inmate and staff networks.
- Lets one administrator push and back up the firewall rules that enforce inmate technology policy.
- Sets up remote sites with less escorted contractor time.

Logs stored in the cloud may include sensitive records. Confirm with your CJIS Systems Officer before sending logs from systems that touch criminal justice information.
- Zero-touch provisioning: a device ships to the site, connects, and retrieves its configuration, which reduces escorted vendor time.
- Central configuration backups shorten rebuild time after a failed or damaged device.
- Hosted log retention and reporting avoid buying a log appliance, at the cost of keeping those logs in Fortinet’s cloud.
