A business phone system. FortiVoice is the system that runs the calls, and FortiFone is the desk phone or the phone app on a computer or mobile device.
FortiVoice is the call-control system, available on-premises, virtual or cloud. FortiFone handsets and softclient apps register with it over your network. It provides extensions, voicemail, conferencing, paging and call handling across sites.
Inmate phone calling is normally run by a specialized provider, so this product’s role is staff communications. Administrators still want control of who can call whom, and records of staff calls across sites.
- Gives staff offices and control rooms one system across every site.
- Keeps staff voice traffic away from inmate networks.
- Provides call records for staff phones.
