Security cameras and the system that records and manages their video.
FortiCamera devices stream video over IP to FortiRecorder, which stores it and manages viewing, playback and alerts. There’s also a cloud option, FortiCamera Cloud, with AI search on specific camera models.
Video shows what network logs can’t. Pairing network records with footage can show who was using a kiosk or device at a specific moment. Video also supports use-of-force reviews, PREA investigations and grievances.
- Helps match a logged kiosk session to the person seen using it.
- Makes footage easier to find for investigations and grievances.
- Controls who can view and export video.
Check before you buy

| Control | Priority | How this helps |
|---|---|---|
| PE-6Monitoring Physical Access | P2* | Video supports monitoring of physical access to areas that hold CJI systems. |
| PE-3Physical Access Control | P2* | Supports physical controls at entrances to those areas. |
